This position spans the full academic school year, providing valuable services to students across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other educational staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment. Document progress and adjust therapy techniques based on student performance and feedback. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student development. Desired Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred. Strong understanding of speech and language development as well as intervention strategies. Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Current California licensure (if applicable).
