A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support an elementary school in Stockton, CA during the 2025-2026 school year. This onsite role focuses on delivering a full range of speech-language services to students from kindergarten through 5th grade. The caseload will average no more than 55 students, allowing for quality individualized attention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and initial evaluations
- Provide comprehensive direct therapy services and ongoing assessments
- Manage and document caseload efficiently while collaborating with educators and families
- Support students with communication disorders to enhance academic and social success
Qualifications:
- Valid California State license as SLP-CCC required
- Experience in school settings preferred but not required
- ASHA certification is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
