Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 school in Ruston, LA, is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized services under a contract for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on supporting students' communication development through individualized therapy and collaborative educational planning. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess student needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions. Participate in team meetings, Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, and ongoing training. Qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid School SLP credential or licensure appropriate for educational settings. Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills.
