MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate with SLP endorsement
- State of Washington SLP license and current license for billing Medicaid
- Strong language development background
- Ability to evaluate and write IEP's
- Ability to relate positively to and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Thorough knowledge of applicable Washington State and Federal rules and regulations
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Flexibility and positive attitude required
- Personal vehicle is required for transportation to various sites
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
The SLP provides evaluative, habilitative (therapy), and consultation services for students with disabilities in need of language, speech, or hearing therapy.
