Occupational Therapist (OT), school based, in person, short term assignment

RCM Health Care is seeking a full time OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST to provide therapy services to high school students at their school location(s) in Garden City, MI. Dates of assignment: 9/2/25-12/5/25.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLILITIES: Others duties may be assigned

Interpret physician orders related to professional area of responsibility
Assess fine motor skills of students
Develop, implement, monitor and modify treatment plans based on physician orders and assessment of student as appropriate
Complete IEP, MET, Medicaid and treatment forms/reports
Maintain treatment/progress notes and Medicaid documentation per professional standards
Train Paraprofessionals on various student plans
Regular and predictable attendance

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Registered Occupational Therapist State of Michigan
Michigan Drivers License
Pediatric experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have good organizational skills
Must have good written and oral language ability
Good interpersonal skills with children and adults

This person must be able to communicate with students, parents, other teachers and administrators and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
