A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in Oakland, CA, covering a one-semester leave of absence. This contract position offers a rewarding chance to support K-12 students onsite with diverse speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other specialists.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.
- Maintain detailed documentation and participate in team meetings to support student success.
Qualifications:
- California Speech Language Pathologist License is required.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience providing speech therapy in a school setting.
- Ability to manage a full caseload of K-12 students effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
