Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A current opening is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students at an elementary school in Huntsville, Alabama. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to work directly with young learners in an educational environment. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations Participate in meetings such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review Desired Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of current speech therapy techniques and educational standards Ability to adapt therapy methods to diverse student needs and learning styles Location: Huntsville, Alabama This contract role provides a focused opportunity to contribute to student communication development in a supportive educational environment.
