Grades 9 - 12 K-5 School Occupational Therapist Aurora, Illinois

An Occupational Therapist is needed to provide therapeutic services to students across Kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic educational setting located in Aurora, IL. This full-time contract position spans the entire school year, offering the chance to support the developmental and functional needs of students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.

Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized occupational therapy interventions that promote students ability to succeed in the school environment. The role requires collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals to facilitate functional independence and academic achievement. Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with all applicable regulations is essential.

Key qualifications:

• Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) with Occupational Therapy certifications
• Experience working with the K-12 student population
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy practices and educational regulations

• 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
