Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Irvington, New Jersey

A Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving an elementary school setting in Flanders, New Jersey. This contract position offers 26 hours per week, running from September 1, 2025, through June 18, 2026. The caseload primarily includes general education students, focusing on language, articulation, and fluency within resource programs provided in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary students within a collaborative, general education environment.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting articulation, fluency, and language development.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate speech therapy services into resource and inclusive settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports to comply with district and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings to support a holistic approach to student development.

Qualifications:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience or licensure in healthcare, pediatrics, school settings, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion.
• Valid license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in New Jersey.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative educational environment.
