School Speech and Language Pathologist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A specialized opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support early childhood development at a preschool program serving children ages 3 to 5 years. This is a contract position running from August 11, 2025, through June 1, 2026, with a 35-hour work week. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver speech-language therapy addressing areas such as assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive and expressive language delays. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing to assess student needs accurately. Prepare comprehensive and insightful reports that reflect student assessments and observations. Work confidently with students exhibiting moderate to severe disabilities, ages 2 to 22 years. Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives aligned with student goals. Collaborate with parents and peers to communicate developmental progress and identify areas requiring additional support. Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for an Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and a teaching license from the Department of Education (IDOE). Preferred 1 to 2 years of experience in speech-language pathology. Strong communication skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
