School Speech Therapist Lowell, Massachusetts

A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and licensure as a School SLP. This role involves providing specialized speech-language services within an elementary school setting located in Lowell, MA.

Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students. The SLP will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs. Maintaining detailed records and progress reports, as well as participating in team meetings and consultations, are integral parts of the role.

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Valid SLP - CCC certification
• Licensure as a School Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment
• Strong assessment and intervention skills aligned with school-based therapy requirements
