Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy sessions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and staff to monitor and support student progress
- Contribute expertise toward literacy development and curriculum planning initiatives
- Identify students at risk and support early intervention efforts
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting consistent with compliance standards
- Provide supervision and mentorship to student clinicians, clinical fellows, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required
