Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language evaluations, interventions, and therapy services to students in grades K-12. Deliver services through both in-person and teletherapy modalities. Manage caseloads generally ranging between 45-60 students, ensuring quality and individualized care. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations. Desired Qualifications: Valid and current SLP certification/license. Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology. Familiarity with teletherapy tools and techniques. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Flexibility to work within a large district setting with variable caseloads and locations. Location: Waterbury, CT This contract position's duration corresponds with the current school year (CSY). As there is a need for up to four SLPs, candidates are encouraged to consider this opportunity early; however, the district plans to hire two SLPs with options to adjust placements to fit individual needs.
