This contract position offers an opportunity to support a diverse student population, focusing on pediatric speech and language development, including teletherapy services. This opening is ideal for SLPs with experience in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, and those currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or with school-based backgrounds. The district is large and flexible, allowing for adjustments in assignments to best fit candidates' preferences regarding location and caseload. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language evaluations, interventions, and therapy services to students in grades K-12. Deliver services through both in-person and teletherapy modalities. Manage caseloads generally ranging between 45-60 students, ensuring quality and individualized care. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations. Desired Qualifications: Valid and current SLP certification/license. Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology. Familiarity with teletherapy tools and techniques. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Flexibility to work within a large district setting with variable caseloads and locations. Location: Waterbury, CT This contract position's duration corresponds with the current school year (CSY). As there is a need for up to four SLPs, candidates are encouraged to consider this opportunity early; however, the district plans to hire two SLPs with options to adjust placements to fit individual needs.
