The contract position is available for the current school year, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact on students' developmental progress and daily success in school activities. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students tailored to their individual educational needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Evaluate and assess students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional performance to determine therapy goals. Provide consultation and strategies to support student participation and accessibility within the classroom setting. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance with school policies. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license. Experience working within a school setting or with pediatric populations. Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic interventions appropriate for school-aged children. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to adapt therapy techniques based on individual student needs and goals.
