This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to provide onsite support within a middle school setting. The position is contract-based for the current school year and requires a commitment of 35 hours per week, serving students in an elementary school environment in Lynn, MA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development and academic success.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate treatment records.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development.
- Provide therapy sessions that enhance students functional abilities in school tasks.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapist licensure.
- Experience working with elementary or middle school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop therapeutic strategies suitable for school settings.
