Job Description


A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role is available within a dynamic K-12 educational setting in Kansas City, Missouri for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers 32.5 hours per week, providing an opportunity to support a diverse student population with speech and communication needs ranging from speech impairments to non-speaking autism.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech-language services to students from PreK through 12th grade
  • Managing a caseload of 46 students for therapy services and 13 students for case management
  • Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Providing services onsite in a supportive school environment

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Missouri state licensure as an SLP
  • Experience working in pediatric and school settings, with familiarity in teletherapy is advantageous
  • Ability to manage caseloads involving a wide range of communication disorders
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
