School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) Job - Akeley, MN

Sunbelt Staffing, a leading education and healthcare staffing agency, is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and provide exceptional services to a school district near Akeley, MN. This is a contract position starting this Fall.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals

Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota OT License
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
