Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate Level Degree
• ASHA CCC Needed In-Hand
• Active Speech Language Pathology License in Missouri
• 2 Years Previous Experience in School Settings

Responsibilities

• Full-Time Position (Open to Part-Time Candidates too!)
• Conduct comprehensive virtual evaluations to diagnose and assess speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students of all ages
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, ensuring alignment with academic, social-emotional, and vocational goals
• Engage in intervention strategies tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities, focusing on improving communication skills for academic success and social interaction
• Utilize and adapt various instructional resources and techniques to enhance student communication abilities, including the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes in speech and language development
• Participate in school-based team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language services
