Montana School Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are looking for a qualified School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our VocoVision Virtual team, providing essential services to students in Montana. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the academic success and well-being of students through virtual occupational therapy interventions.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate the sensory, motor, and self-regulation needs of students.
2. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and parents.
3. Provide virtual therapy sessions to address fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, and other occupational therapy goals.
4. Collaborate with teachers and other education professionals to integrate therapy strategies into the school environment.
5. Participate in virtual IEP meetings and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy plans.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Montana.
2. Experience in school-based occupational therapy is a plus
3. Familiarity with virtual platforms and technology for remote service delivery.
4. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a virtual school setting.
5. Understanding of special education laws and regulations related to occupational therapy services in schools.
6. Dedication to providing high-quality, student-centered virtual occupational therapy.
