Speech Language Pathologist in Elizabethtown, KY

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide specialized support for students in an elementary school setting. This contract position covers a medical leave and could last anywhere from approximately six weeks to a full semester. The role offers a structured environment, working with 3rd to 5th-grade students, approximately 50 in total. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to elementary students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and onsite staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust interventions to meet students' evolving needs. Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing school-wide strategies that support student communication goals. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate closely with educational staff. Ability to work within the 7:45 am to 2:30 pm bell schedule.
