Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Jersey City, NJ. This role offers vital experience working with pediatric populations and a chance to apply your skills in speech-language pathology within a dynamic educational environment. Key Qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but a CFY candidate is also welcome to apply Experience or interest in school-based speech-language pathology services Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, students, and families Background or interest in pediatric speech and language services Ability to provide therapy and assessments tailored to school-age children Responsibilities: Deliver evaluation and treatment services to students with speech and language impairments Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Participate in meetings related to student educational and therapeutic needs Adhere to school policies and maintain confidentiality of student records Location: Jersey City, NJ - On-site position, no virtual options available. Duration: Full-semester contract covering a Maternity Leave from September through December.
