Preschool Speech/Language Pathologist for the 2026 - 2027 School Year

This position is with Cooperative School Services.Cooperative School Services is based in Rensselaer and serves nine school corporations (Benton Community, Frontier, Kankakee Valley, North Newton, North White, Rensselaer Central, South Newton, Tri-County, and West Central).

This position is for a Speech/Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with preschool students with disabilities.Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered.

Start date:On or about August5, 2026

End Date: On or about May 22, 2027,anticipate190 daystotal

Age ranges of students:Preschool

Preschool SLPs are generally assigned geographically, though some travel is involved. Duties include initial evaluations, re-evaluations, Case Conference attendance, IEP development, and direct and consultation services to students.

Job Requirements

• Indiana Licensure as a Speech/Language Pathologist
• Effective spoken and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively work as a team member either as a leader or as a participant
• Willingness to accept direction and ability to effectively complete assigned tasks on time
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy of information
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• The position covers multiple school buildings and sites and requires the use of a personal vehicle for travel with mileage reimbursement.
