Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Reports to: Building Principal and Director of Special Education
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology with required successful school internship or student teaching completed. Hold and maintain current licensure in Speech and Language Pathology in the state of Indiana.
Performance Responsibilities:
Use current theory and techniques in the field of speech and language pathology (including evaluation).
Provide direct and indirect services in the area of speech and language for all students on a caseload as well as students in the RTI process.
Work collaboratively with the special education teams at the building in order to help develop positive planning for students.
Be knowledgeable about assistive technology to support language and improve academic achievement in general education settings.
Maintain student records required by law, policies and administrative procedures.
Appropriately administer, score, and interpret specialized speech and language assessments.
Participate on RTI teams to support students in general education.

The pay rate of the SLP is commensurate with experience/qualifications..
