Speech Language Pathologist in Clio, AL

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire A part-time role is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support a school environment in Clio, Alabama. This contract-to-hire position will run from July 31, 2026, through May 27, 2027, providing services 2-3 days per week. The caseload includes approximately 50 students, allowing for impactful intervention and therapy tailored to student needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, assessing and addressing individual communication challenges. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports. Implement evidence-based practices to help students improve speech, language, communication, and swallowing skills. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from a recognized professional association. Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with children of varying speech and language abilities.
