School Occupational Therapist

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) and Physical Therapist (PT) with experience in school settings for a contract position located in West Jordan, UT. This opportunity involves performing assessments and potentially providing ongoing therapy services within a school environment. Responsibilities: Conduct a one-time, comprehensive assessment for two students to evaluate their OT and PT needs. Analyze assessment results to determine the appropriate level and frequency of therapy. If indicated, provide ongoing therapy sessions for one or two students weekly. Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress. Document therapy goals, progress notes, and assessment outcomes in compliance with school policies. Qualifications: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist and/or Physical Therapist. Experience working in school-based settings preferred. Strong assessment and evaluation skills for pediatric populations. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel. Flexibility to commit to an initial assessment followed by potential weekly therapy sessions. Location: This contract role is based in West Jordan, UT, within a school environment.
