USD 454 is seeking a dynamic and student-centered leader to serve as Secondary Principal for our Junior and Senior High School beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be a visionary, transformational leader who is committed to continuous improvement, strong instructional practices, and student success.

The ideal candidate will be a progressive instructional leader with a strong understanding of curriculum, teaching, and learning, and will actively support the school improvement process. They will foster a positive and healthy school climate while building strong relationships with students, staff, families, and the community.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively manage time and remain responsive to communication. We are seeking a leader who can inspire staff, support high-quality instruction, and cultivate a collaborative culture focused on growth and achievement.
