Wabaunsee USD 329 is seeking a highly relational, student-centered leader to serve as Assistant Principal at Wabaunsee Elementary School (Pre-K6) in Alma, Kansas. Located in the Flint Hills along the I-70 corridor, USD 329 offers a strong academic program, supportive community, and a collaborative leadership structure focused on continuous improvement. The Assistant Principal will support daily operations, student behavior systems, and instructional priorities while building strong relationships with students, staff, and families. This position requires a visible, organized leader committed to maintaining a positive, structured learning environment and supporting both student success and staff growth. Qualified candidates must hold (or be eligible for) a Kansas building-level leadership license and demonstrate a commitment to high expectations, consistency, and doing what is best for students.
