Speech Language Pathologists provide speech and language services to eligible students on IEPs within the South Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative assigned areas. The Speech Language Pathologist assists in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of students, the Speech/Language Pathologist must work closely with the staff and administration of the cooperative and school district.

South Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative provides special education services to 15-school districts located in 8 counties. School districts served are: Pratt, Skyline, Macksville, St. John, Stafford, Kingman-Norwich, Cunningham-Zenda, Anthony-Harper, Attica, Medicine Lodge, Kiowa, Haviland, Greensburg, Lewis, Coldwater-Protection. In addition to the services provided in member district buildings, SCKSEC provides services at one alternative attendance center in Pratt and Life Skills in Medicine Lodge and Kingman.
