Job Summary St. Francis Borgia Grade School is a Catholic parish school of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. We are dedicated to serving children and families by providing a Christ-centered learning environment where students grow in faith, knowledge, and character.
St. Francis Borgia Grade School is seeking a full-time Nurse to serve during the school year. This position supports students' health and well-being during the school day and helps ensure a safe and caring school environment. The standard hours for this role are 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on school days. This is a full-time position and may be eligible for benefits in accordance with Archdiocesan policies.Job Responsibilities
Be available to work during school hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Provide first aid, administer medications, and care for students with acute or chronic health needs
Monitor and respond to student illnesses and injuries, and determine when additional medical care is needed
Accurately document student health office visits, medications administered, and incidents according to school policy
Communicate appropriately with school staff and families regarding student health concerns
Maintain confidentiality regarding student health records and information
Support a safe, caring, and professional school environment
Job Requirements
Experience working with children preferred
Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to exercise sound judgment in responding to student health needs
Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff while maintaining confidentiality
