Career Program Specialist ( Admissions Representative ) - Put Your People Skills to Work Are you great with people but burned out by quota-only sales roles, unpredictable schedules, or jobs that feel transactional instead of meaningful?

What You ll Be Doing

As a Career Program Specialist, you ll be the first point of contact for prospective students, helping them explore career training options and determine if our programs are the right fit.

You will:

Speak with prospective students by phone, in person, and virtually about career goals and educational options

Guide applicants through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment

Build trust through consultative, student-focused conversations - not high-pressure tactics

Conduct campus tours and information sessions

Accurately document student interactions and progress in our systems

Collaborate with Financial Aid, Academic, and Student Services teams

Participate in paid training and ongoing professional development

Minimum Requirements

Required:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 2 years of sales or customer service experience

Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills

Comfort working with goals, follow-ups, and deadlines

Ability to use common software programs (MS Word/Excel/Outlook etc.)

Preferred:

Associate s degree

Knowledge of post-secondary or career-focused education
