Skills & Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Social Worker
• Previous experience with school-aged children and adolescents, ideally in multiple grade levels
• Understanding of school systems, special education, and crisis intervention
• Strong organizational, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Compassionate communicator, able to connect with diverse students and families
• Adaptable and solution-focused approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support services to students facing academic, social, behavioral, or emotional challenges
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
• Partner with educators, administrators, and parents/guardians to develop action plans and interventions
• Serve as a resource for crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and referrals to community agencies
• Participate in special education assessments, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary teams
• Advocate for student needs and help foster an inclusive, positive school culture
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality at all times
