Elementary Grades K - 5 Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Grand Rapids, MI

Make a meaningful difference supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging school environment. This contract opportunity is in-person and runs through the remainder of the current school year, working with students in grades K-5. Youll collaborate closely with educators and families to foster each childs ability to communicate and succeed.

What were seeking:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure or eligibility in Michigan
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Dedication to supporting diverse learners in an inclusive school setting

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-5 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver in-person therapy with evidence-based practices
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to meet student needs
• Provide consultation and resources to teachers and families
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school and district policies
