Key Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island Social Worker license is required
- Previous experience in an elementary or school setting is preferred
- Comfortable maintaining accurate service logs for Medicaid reimbursement
- Able to confidently manage an elementary age caseload and individual needs
- Strong communication, advocacy, and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide social and emotional support to elementary school students, helping them navigate challenges and building resilience
- Deliver individualized and group interventions tailored to student needs
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for Medicaid and district compliance
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure holistic support for students
- Participate in virtual interviews via Zoom and engage with ongoing training if provided
- Complete onboarding requirements, including a national BCI with fingerprinting, prior to start
