Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY's considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and experience conducting assessments and therapy
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs from varying age groups
  • Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other allied professionals to create supportive learning environments
  • Track student progress, document session notes, and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and student support teams as needed
  • Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to facilitate generalization of skills
  • Stay current on evidence-based practices and compliance with school and state guidelines
