Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY's considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with IEP processes and experience conducting assessments and therapy
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs from varying age groups
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other allied professionals to create supportive learning environments
- Track student progress, document session notes, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and student support teams as needed
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to facilitate generalization of skills
- Stay current on evidence-based practices and compliance with school and state guidelines
