Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist licensure in the state
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Familiarity with evaluation and assessment tools commonly used in school settings
- Strong understanding of educational law, special education regulations, and IEP/504 processes
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Capacity to manage caseloads with professionalism and empathy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to promote student growth
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) teams and related meetings
- Deliver direct and indirect support for student learning and well-being
