Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid and current state certification or license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility)
• Prior experience working in a K-12 setting preferred
• Strong understanding of special education law and assessment tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural competence

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
• Interpret results and provide recommendations to guide educational planning
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings and multi-disciplinary team decision-making
• Offer consultation to teachers, parents, and school staff regarding interventions and strategies
• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Support implementation of behavior management plans and prevention programs
• Maintain thorough documentation, complying with regulatory standards and deadlines
