Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong assessment skills (cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional)
- Experience creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting highly regarded
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs and behavioral intervention plans
- Provide counseling and guidance to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to optimize student support
- Contribute to crisis response and prevention programs
- Consult with staff on strategies to enhance student learning and climate
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards
