Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Solid knowledge of child development, assessment, and intervention strategies
  • Experience with IEPs, MTSS/RTI processes, and crisis intervention approaches
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work across various grade levels
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to guide eligibility and program planning
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement effective behavior management strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and review IEPs and behavioral plans
  • Offer consultation to parents and caregivers on educational and mental health concerns
  • Contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives that promote a positive learning environment
  • Support crisis prevention and intervention, serving as a resource during urgent situations
