The assignment runs for the academic year, from early August through early June, in the Spring, TX area.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLP license required
  • ASHA CCC preferred; candidates pursuing Clinical Fellowship are welcome
  • Experience in school-based SLP settings highly valued
  • Comfortable working with a caseload of roughly 60 students
  • Willingness to occasionally supervise if CCCs credentialed
  • Flexibility to work between one or two school sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy for students, following IEP guidelines and best-practice standards
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, administration, and parents to promote student success
  • Provide supervision and mentorship for SLPA or CF candidates (if applicable)
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary teams
