Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- ASHA CCC preferred; candidates pursuing Clinical Fellowship are welcome
- Experience in school-based SLP settings highly valued
- Comfortable working with a caseload of roughly 60 students
- Willingness to occasionally supervise if CCCs credentialed
- Flexibility to work between one or two school sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy for students, following IEP guidelines and best-practice standards
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and parents to promote student success
- Provide supervision and mentorship for SLPA or CF candidates (if applicable)
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and multidisciplinary teams
