Posting Date : April 24, 2026 Closing Date : May 8, 2026 Reports to: Superintendent and HS Principal Start Date: August 2026 Rate of Pay: Starting at $100,776 Schedule: 220 day contract Qualifications: Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related Educational Field Minimum five (5) years teaching experience Minimum five (5) years of administrative experience Hold or ability to obtain administrative certification Preferred experience as Head Varsity Coach Job Responsibilities: Assist the High School Principal in the performance of duties necessary for the effective operation of the high school. Hold primary responsibilities for the coordination (7-12), scheduling (7-12) and supervision (9-12) of athletic activities. Schedule all officials and associated help for athletic contests. Serve as budget control officer for all athletic department items. Oversee all athletic-related fundraising activities. Administer the Athletic Code. Monitor student/athletic academic eligibility. Serve as liaison to MHSAA and SEC. Hire and evaluate all middle school and high school coaching assignments. Host and lead seasonal meetings with coaches at the beginning of each athletic season to communicate expectations, procedures, and program priorities Coordinate facility use. Responsible for the creation of all written communication documents for the Athletic Department including schedules, programs, etc. Serve as a liaison with parent athletic booster groups. Ensure adequate supervision at school athletic events through personal attendance or delegated event coverage. Supervision and evaluation of all Physical Education Staff, as assigned. Collaborate with administration to support building operations, including student behavior, supervision, and school climate. Assume other duties as assigned by the high school principal.
