This position offers the chance to serve a diverse caseload of 50-55 students, spanning PreK, elementary, and middle/high schools. With a 37.5-hour workweek, you'll be immersed in a variety of school settings, enriching your professional skills while making a meaningful impact. Ideal candidates will have prior experience or training in educational settings, pediatric populations, healthcare, or teletherapy. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or pending state licensure SLP-CCC or CFY candidates encouraged to apply Familiarity with school-based service delivery and IEP processes Experience in teletherapy or willingness to adapt to virtual sessions as needed Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students across multiple age groups (PreK through high school) Strong communication and documentation skills Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Provide direct and consultative services in-person and occasionally via teletherapy Adapt treatment techniques for diverse learning needs and environments Maintain thorough records and support compliance with school procedures This contract role places you in an engaging region near Havelock, with access to vibrant communities including Vanceboro, New Bern, and surrounding coastal areas.
