Physical Therapist
Location: K-12, Location: TBD

Performance Responsibilities/Duties:

• Experience providing direct (individual and group) and indirect (consult) services related to gross motor skills.
• Experience with evaluating and treating students with mobility and/or functional challenges in their school environment.
• Experience with a variety of environmental modifications and adaptive equipment (i.e., sitting/standing equipment, playground, classroom, hallways).
• Knowledge or experience with data collection and progress reporting related to physical therapy goals.
• Experience working with students with a range of disabilities including autism and intellectual disabilities.
• Ability to observe a student engaging in an activity and provide strategies to facilitate the student's full participation in terms of gross motor support.
• Reduce barriers that limit student participation within the school environment.
• Provide consultation regarding emergency evacuation of students with disabilities.
• Develop IEP benchmarks and annual goals and complete quarterly progress monitoring and reporting.
• Develop annual goals to be part of the 504 Plan and complete progress monitoring and reporting.
• Complete necessary documentation for Medicaid Cost Recovery.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet State of Delaware license requirements as a Physical Therapist as determined by the Board of Physical Therapy Practice.
