Part Time School Psychologist Onsite - Calumet City, IL

Sunbelt Staffing is working with a school district located near Calumet City, IL, to hire a School Psychologist. This contract position is Part-Time, working 2 days per week for the full school year.

In this role, the School Psychologist will primarily work to support students in Elementary grades.

Responsibilities may include:

• Evaluating students for eligibility of special education services
• Counseling students individually or in groups
• Writing evaluation reports with multidisciplinary evaluation teams
• Consulting with parents and teachers
• Leading teams through the process of completing Functional Behavior Assessments
• Supporting the implementation of formal or informal behavior intervention plans
• Collaborate with the other School Psychologists for the district, meet weekly, and a possibility of attending Student Intervention meetings.

Requirements:

• Must have a Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
• Illinois state School Psychologist license is required
• Professional Educators License (PEL) is required
