Registered Nurse - School Setting - Fulltime - Fruitland, NM

Details:

• Full-time M-F (no weekends)
• Onsite
• K-12th grade

Job Description:

• Perform responsible and complex duties related to school health policies and procedures
• Handle confidential, sensitive, and potentially controversial information with discretion
• Participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of the school health program in accordance with New Mexico regulations
• Advocate for student health needs and rights
• Provide health services using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation)
• Identify health concerns including social, physical, and psychological factors impacting learning
• Facilitate communication between students, families, staff, medical providers, and the community

Qualifications/Special Requirements:

• Associates degree, Bachelors degree, or higher in Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the New Mexico Board of Nursing
• Current Professional School Nurse License issued by the State of New Mexico
• Pass background check and drug screening
