Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist within a collaborative school environment. Based in a welcoming middle school, this full-time position runs from August through late May, providing in-person speech services that make a meaningful impact on student achievement.
Your expertise will support a caseload of up to 50 students (current count: 39), including those receiving speech as a primary or related service. Youll work closely with education teams, participate in IEP meetings, and ensure compliance with all relevant protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold an active NCDPI Speech-Language Pathologist license (documentation required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience as an SLP in a school-based setting is essential
- Strong working knowledge of ECATS for compliance and record-keeping
- Experience writing present levels of performance and annual IEP goals
- Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings
- Positive references and consistent professional history
