Position Overview

We are seeking a tech-savvy School Psychologist for a100% remote position supporting a preschool population in the NortheasternSchool District (Springfield, OH). This role is perfect for a professional whoexcels in early childhood assessment and enjoys working via a high-qualityteletherapy platform. You will be a vital part of the special education team,helping to shape the foundational educational paths for the district's youngestlearners.

Key Responsibilities

• Early Childhood Evaluations: Conduct virtual initial evaluations for preschool-aged children to determine eligibility for early childhood special education services.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the special education team, teachers, and parents to review data and develop intervention strategies.
• Meeting Facilitation: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to present evaluation findings.
• Friday Coordination: Must be available to work on Fridays, as this is the districts primary meeting day for collaboration and IEP reviews.

Schedule Details

• Total Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days per week).
• Mandatory Day: Fridays are required; the other two days can be discussed during the interview.
• Environment: Fully virtual via our VocoVision teletherapy platform.

Qualifications

• Certification: Valid Ohio Department of Education (ODE) School Psychologist License.
• Experience: Previous experience with preschool or early childhood populations is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable using virtual assessment tools and video conferencing software.
• Home Office: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a private, quiet workspace.
