Psychologist

This position is for a full time school psychologist in the Andover school district. APS currently has a robust mental and behavioral health team comprised of psychologists, social workers, and BCBAs. This particular role is located at one school and includes a designation as support staff for inclusion-based Sp.Ed. programming.? Conduct psychoeducational assessments as part of the building's multidisciplinary team.

? Provide support for a select group of students in inclusion-based Sp.Ed programming, such as students who require social and emotional interventions, academic support, and collateral communication with community providers. This may include:

? Grid A consultation services to teachers regarding students' social-emotional, behavioral, and learning needs.

? Push-in student support in small group and general education classrooms.

? Facilitate skills-building groups related to emotional regulation, executive functioning, and socialization.

? Provide individual counseling for this group of students.

? Work with BCBA and social work colleagues to develop Student Success Plans, BSPs, and other interventions (i.e. CICO interventions).

? Participate on the building's MTSS and wellness teams.? MA DESE School Psychology credential .

? NCSP is strongly preferred.

? Experience working with students with learning, neurodevelopmental, and/or social-emotional needs.
