This contract role is open for the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 12, 2026, through June 11, 2027. The district is seeking four dedicated SLPs (including Clinical Fellowssupervision provided!) for full-time assignments primarily in the East or Southern parts of the district. You'll enjoy flexibility in your caseload preference, with a maximum caseload of up to 35 students. No assistant positions are open at this time. Desired Qualifications: Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license (required) CCC-SLP credential preferred; SLP-CF candidates welcome (district provides supervision) Previous school-based experience especially supporting students with Autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is a plus Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Commitment to serving diverse student populations Core Responsibilities: Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students as assigned Evaluate, develop, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and progress documentation in accordance with school guidelines Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings as needed You'll have the opportunity to select your preferred caseload type, tailored during the interview process to align with your experience and strengths.
