Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take on a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students in a school setting. This full-time position runs Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM, and typically covers 1-2 nearby elementary schools, offering a manageable and collaborative workload. This role focuses on early childhood communication and development, including language, articulation, social skills, and AAC support. In-person services are strongly preferred to build strong connections with students and staff. The school is very supportive of Clinical Fellows (CFYs) and enjoys mentoring and working with new graduates. What You'll Need:
Georgia SLP license (or eligibility)
CCC or CFY accepted
Experience working with children, especially in schools
Familiarity with AAC devices and assistive technology
Knowledge of IEPs, progress tracking, and team collaboration
Commitment to working on-site with students
What You'll Do:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders
Manage a caseload of elementary students across 1-2 schools
Create and implement individualized treatment plans
Track progress and maintain documentation
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
Use AAC and other tools to support communication needs
