What You'll Bring: Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Ability to begin timely credentialing, including the Virginia Department of Social Services background check and TB test Flexible mindset for working across student age ranges, from kindergarten through high school Solid knowledge of school-based SLP best practices and a collaborative approach with educators, students, and families Strong communication and documentation skills Previous school experience is valued but not required for entry-level rates Primary Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy to assigned caseload across one or more schools (assignments determined closer to start date) Complete student evaluations, develop IEP goals, and document progress according to school and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students' learning and social participation Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Deliver therapy services on-siteremote or hybrid work is not an option Enjoy competitive, experience-based compensation, with rates ascending for advanced school SLP experience ($49-61 per hour).
